My heart is broken about Steven. He helped me get a little acquainted with Chicago when he didn't really know me other than as a friend of Sooyoung's. That kid was full of sparks and I have a feeling that his sparks will come home with each and every person.

Y'know, I was walking the dog yesterday and I passed VSA Partners, where Steven used to work. When I first came to Chicago, he told me to go there and he'd introduce me to some web guys cuz that was what I wanted to do. I went and he showed me around and introduced me to some of the folks there. He even took me to the printer area so I could get my meager portfolio together.

I live right on the other side of VSA now and suddenly, I'm remembering how it felt to come to the area for the first time and remembering Steven's generosity and genuine care about some guy he just met. My body got real warm when I passed the building with the pooch and that's how it'll be from here on out.
