From the Fishing Message Boards

My best memory about Steve took place before I actually got to meet him. You, Peggy and me were getting together for tea/dessert at Crossroads Cafe, one of our SF hangouts. You had BIG NEWS! You had a crush on a guy at work, but he was a "younger" man. The two-year age difference seemed to concern you. Peggy and I advised you that age wasn't a big deal, maturity was. Besides, younger guys can be fun!

The next time we got together to catch up, things were going really well for you and Steven. I was so thrilled for you! He was a great catch – smart, funny, cute, good values, plus he was tall for an Asian American dude.

After A Media folded and you were laid off, I felt bad and somewhat responsible, since I had recommended you for the job. I consoled myself by thinking that you still came out ahead. Even though you were laid off, you had found and kept something far more precious – Steven.
