is my memory of Steven.
When you two came over for dinner, and I finally met Steven, I was
so impressed with his, er, "genuine-ness," even at one meeting.
I remember him commenting on my kitchen cabinets, and it wasn't because
he was trying to make small talk: he was actually interested in them
and noticed them. That sounds so silly, but it's not. Most people, they
just say something to say it. Taking a real, genuine interest in people
is so rare... and it was obvious, too, how much he cared about you.
I remember telling JT after you guys left, "Steven is a great guy!"
I was looking forward to getting together with the both of you again.
