I was 18 years old when I met Steven. At that first glance, I remember thinking, “I would really like to know him.” There was something magnetic about his personality. We spent a time of our lives together when life was just one discovery after another. I am fortunate to have been able to share this time with him. I think the most special part of our relationship is that we have always remained close friends. Many people tend to lose touch with their college friends as they move on in life, but Steven would not let that happen to us. It’s very painful to imagine a life without his smile, laughter, energy, generosity and even the “unsolicited advice” that I used to always tease him about. He holds a very special place in my heart and in the hearts of all of his friends and family. Steven, we miss you and love you so much.
